Thursday, November 26, 2009. Winter term 2009 is officiallly over. I took my last final this morning at 10 o'clock and I feel great! I had two computer science finals, a lab final and a calculus final this last week all of which I totally owned and am so confident that I'll be boasting a perfect to near perfect GPA for the term. Yay! This weekend I'm going to be in my scrapbooking room creating some rocking Rusty Pickle projects and whatever time is left will be spent packing for our vacation! Oh, and he...

Thursday, November 26, 2009. Cards, cards and more cards. That seems to be all that I've been working on lately which is so unlike me. I usually have the hardest time EVER making a damn card that I like, let alone 10 of them. So, I guess having all of these done is like a personal victory for me. =). Products: Rusty Pickle paper, stamps, rubons and ribbon. Bazzill cardstock and Making Memories alpha stickers. Products: Rusty Pickle paper, stamps, rubons, ribbon and buttons. Bazzill cardstock. Saturday, November 24, 2007. Terrance turned 5 months old yesterday. Isn't she a doll? These are just a few pics I snapped of her in our mock photo shoot, hehe. And then one that dh snapped of her and I (and no, I don't have a weird growth on the side of my neck, that's just my cat). Next month we're going to get some professional photos taken and I can hardly wait. I told my husband that he can't wear a t-shirt either, it has to be a nice shirt with a collar.we'll see how it goes. Tuesday, November 06, ...

Saturday, October 31, 2009. I cut it off. And I LOVE it! I was at the mall on Sunday and after browsing around JC Penney for a bit I walked. Into the first salon that I saw and said, "I need it cut off.". And, my hair has body and volume again and it bounces when I move my head. Who knew that taking 12 inches off would make such a difference? And, my latest scrappy project is another acrylic wall decor thing (dang, that's technical). This time it's all about LOVE and was. I have no idea, she just does).

Tuesday, July 31, 2007. I'm finally starting Terrance's baby book and this is the opening page to it. I love the design except for that flower, I might change that later. I'm going in for my 6 week check up today (can hardly believe it's been that long) and I'm hoping to be a bit lighter than I was at my one week check (when I was down 30 lbs). I recently started using my elliptical machine and am loving the workout. Posted by Alycia Sanders. Friday, July 27, 2007. Posted by Alycia Sanders. Also on Satur...

Thursday, November 26, 2009. Happy valentines day, early. Love is in the air and on all the store shelves. I've been inspired for days and finally found some time yesterday to sit down for awhile and get something done. I played with brown and pink paper lines from Rusty Pickle: White Chocolate Bunnies and Chocolate Kisses. I also used a few chipboard shapes, rub ons, butt-ons and bling to make these cards complete. They're cute, right? Is it your first visit? Here are pictures of the goods that you'll w...

Thursday, November 26, 2009. An update, part 1: the LB (little babe). My lovely little girl is 20 months and 3 days old. She clearly (well, to me and joe at least) says, "where'd it go? And lots of other things in a high pitched squeaky voice that melts my heart each time I hear it. When she gets up in the morning the first thing she does is put on her magenta high-heeled plastic dress-up shoes. Her hair is long enough for pig tails! Of which I've never understand because the girl lives in pink. Hugs* Th...

Thursday, October 25, 2007. Karen Russell, Narratives designer extraordinaire, who teaches classes at our store regularly is always, always, always promoting the photo lab www.scrapbookpictures.com. She not only has designed some really cool frames for them but, they themselves can do some pretty neat things with your photos. In other news, I got a new desk in my scrapbooking. Also, a week ago or so I joined Curves. I went for my first workout the other day and I have to say that I loved it! Thursday, Oc...

Saturday, October 31, 2009. A late night laugh. She's sitting at the table with her gourmet coffee. Her son is on the cover of the Wheaties box. Her daughter is on the cover of Business Week. Her boyfriend is on the cover of Playgirl. And her husband is on the back of the milk carton. Keep reading-they get better! Cash, check or charge? I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet, I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. A few minutes late...
