Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Got this easy one from a friend. You'll need some stew meat and a large can of tomato juice (not V-8 or tomato sauce). Simmer meat for 30 minutes in some water. Then add the juice and veggies you like: cabbage, mushrooms, peppers, potatoes, anything! Add any spices like salt and some garlic powder. Simmer for three hours. Freezes great too! Tuesday, February 10, 2009. 4 Pork Chops (any style you like.but bone-in keeps it moist). 1 Cup packed brown sugar. 1 Cup apple cider (I use juice). 1 Cup raisins (optional). Coat chops with flour and seasoning. In large skillet, brown each side (approximately 2 minutes each). Slice apples and layer your 9x13 baking dish with your apples. Sunday, November 30, 2008. Bobbie and Alan (Brian's mom and her husband) came and shared Thanksgiving with us. It was nice and quaint. The luxury of only having a few of you is that it is so very laid back and relaxed. We cooked in our pajamas, ate in our pajamas and later that evening changed into clean pajamas for bed! I received the wheel just the other day! Parker's new school highly recommended that we purchase a rolling backpack for our student. Well because the specifically mentioned it I figured they meant it and needed to buy him a good backpack, so I went to LL Bean (Brian had a laptop bag from them that lasted nearly 10 years! It is suppose to be a great toy for the kid who loves to play with a cardboard box. Liddie got a Bilibo for Christmas, a red one too! 160;Hey how can I complain, easy to clean up, pour it out and wipe it out with a clorox wipe! 160;Needless to say, we talked to Liddie about this and she should not longer use her Bilibo as a potty chair!
