http://travelingboots.blogspot.com/2009/01/excelsior.html
Monday, January 5, 2009. I've always loved this statue in Conyers, and when I drove by one evening over break I saw it had been decorated for Christmas. The boys, covered in ice and climbing ever higher, reminded me of a poem by Longfellow. Also, click the link on the top right of the blog to sign up and receive emails each time I make a post. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow - Excelsior. The shades of night were falling fast,. As through an Alpine village passed. A youth, who bore, 'mid snow and ice,. Still g...

I still have on my blue though. Even if I can't see the Eagles, they will be piped through my computer speakers. Chewing Up The Experi...

Steps on the Journey. Thursday, May 25, 2006. There was a perplexing aspect to it for me though. The movie moved so quickly through the action that it was basically non-stop the whole way through. Yet, it still managed to drag in parts. It was almost like you are moving at a feverish pace for 20-30 minutes and then . stop. A five minute long conversation in a room. Then, it was back to the fast moving pace. Posted by John at 11:08 AM. Thursday, May 18, 2006. It Makes You Wonder. Posted by John at 6:23 PM.
