joie de vivre: Kansas City Vacation
http://mattandrachelwilson.blogspot.com/2015/08/kansas-city-vacation.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. This year we decided to take the kids to Kansas City for vacation. As close as it is to us, we've never been and it seemed like there would be a lot to do for the kids. This was the first "real" family vacation we've taken in a long time and it was so much fun! We are already talking about what we want to do next year. :) Matt and I really want the kids to see as much of our country as we can, so our list of sights to see in the upcoming years is pretty long! I told the kids th...

joie de vivre: September 2014
http://mattandrachelwilson.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. For Labor Day weekend this year, we made the rounds and visited both of our families. We got the kids a little early from school on Friday and headed to Little Rock. As much as we love our families I think we were all most excited to see Cormac! We mostly just chilled at the house. The guys watched the game on Saturday and my mom cooked yummy food. All my kids love Mimi's tub. It's huge. And, it's even better when you get to take a bath with Cormac like Charlotte did. The g...

Lucas Letters: May 2008
http://lucasletters.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Lately we have become party animals as this is the birthday season at the Lucas household. It all started in March with my 30th birthday. We then moved on to Lathan turning 1 at the end of the month. We threw a small family party which he indulged in lots of chocolate! He had amazing baseball cakes.I cannot take the credit as Angela is the creative one (I'm actually horrible at making cakes)! There will be a video of this to follow in a few days. Lucas Letters: April 2008
http://lucasletters.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 10, 2008. We recently took our family vacation to Arkansas and Missouri. Our first stop was in Little Rock to visit Nate's parents for Easter. This of course, included a hunt (see previous post). Papa and Nana had a great time with the boys! We also stopped by the Bass Pro shop for a quick look-around. We orginally planned for our trip home to take two days, but the boys were amazing and we made it in one day! Overall, we had a great time with our family and friends. I feel very bless...

http://lucasletters.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 25, 2008. Part 1: We're Back! Sorry we have taken such a long break from blogging. We've been busy with VBS, 2 trips to Arkansas, Lathan breaking (really it was more like a crack) his wrist, taking a cruise (pictures to come later), and 4th festivities. It's been a fun whirlwind with many more summer activities to come! Here's a few pictures for your enjoyment! I continue to ask him if he want to play tee-ball, soccer, or golf next year. Each time the answer is golf, so golf it is. This is a...

joie de vivre: August 2015
http://mattandrachelwilson.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 18, 2015. The {last} Night Before Kindergarten. But, I'm still not ready. Tonight I am sitting here wondering (again) where the time has gone? Not every day was an easy one or even a good one; there were some hard, hard days when Charlotte was a baby that I wondered if I would every have a moment alone. And, now I'm staring down days. Alone There were moments when I would lay in bed at night and think, "for the first time all day, no one is touching me, or talking to me.". I really have n...

joie de vivre: January 2015
http://mattandrachelwilson.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 22, 2015. Charlotte had quite a few days of birthday fun this year! And we haven't even had her friend party yet! Mimi and Grandad came up on Monday to give her gifts to her and take her out for a special birthday lunch just the 3 of them. She pretty much thought that lunch was one of the best things ever! And, Sugar, Stewart and Cormac send her a box full of new bows and headbands that she's switched out and worn constantly. This "snowflake" headband is one of her favorites. She had on...

http://mattandrachelwilson.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Mid March Catch Up. March is half way through and I have to say that I am enjoying a couple of weeks of things being a little bit slower before the craziness of having 3 kiddos in baseball/softball begins in a few days.along with all the other activities they have going on! So we made do with a family dinner and it was tons of fun! Harrison is just 50% in everything height/weight, and Charlotte is destined to be short- still sticking to 25% so she's gonna be tiny. :). This girl...
