After manufacture, when products have passed the test for quality standards, any products that require rubber seals or assembly are fitted and finished using a variety of methods. High frequency plastic welding is used to create a permanent bond between two moulded components. It is especially effective in small components. Our designers compensate for this in the design process where the surfaces to be joined are considered and allowances made should this process of joining parts be used.

The Wilvic injection plant currently operates 24 injection moulding machines with capacities that range from 20 to 160 tons all of which are controlled from a centralised computer base. To ensure optimal operating efficiency all machines are monitored 24 hours a day and maintenance engineers are also on hand for preventative maintenance and repair where necessary.
