the journey of becoming...

The journey of becoming. Saturday, March 14, 2015. Friday, March 13, 2015. Classic Twinkle: Independent and driven to solve her own problems, which in this case is a lack of Dee-dee's". Not uncommon to find her standing on a counter or perched precariously on an object she dragged over to access something beyond her reach! Friday, September 26, 2014. 3rd Annual visit to Meadows Maize. Hay wagon ride: very informative, but not nearly as exciting as Papa's at the Wisselbrooke farm. Practicing for the future.

the journey of becoming...: Fraser rising

http://www.windowintomatt.blogspot.com/2014/06/fraser-rising.html

The journey of becoming. Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Winter flow - lots of gravel bars. Spring flood - no more sand bars! And up. One week before the previous photo. No more sand bars, no more river fires! A frequent walking trail flooded. Completely over (one week after the photo above). Gets even higher (one week after the photo above). According to the locals, this is a normal seasonal thing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Matt Schipper Photography (Flickr).

The journey of becoming. Thursday, June 12, 2014. Harrison Hotsprings: resort hamlet nestled on the shores of a breathtaking lake. When I stand on the shore and gaze out over the shifting waters, I almost forget about the bus loads of tourists snapping photos and gobbling up gelato, and imagine that I'm standing on the edge of a pristine lake in the heart of the wilderness. Almost. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Matt Schipper Photography (Flickr). Another Day in the Life.

The journey of becoming. Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Working in Hope affords me a few perks, one of which is the beautiful surroundings in which the town is nestled. During my lunch hour myself and other colleagues take the opportunity to get out and excercise, going for #lunchtimewalks around Hope. Today, despite a light rain, I walked by the Thacker creek marsh just outside of Hope. A few photos from the excursion. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. http://www.windowintomatt.blogspot.com/2014/09/ft-langley-park.html

The journey of becoming. Friday, September 19, 2014. One of the first family outings with four. A stop for a drinkable treat on the way, a visit to the goats on the way back, and lots of fresh air and exercise in the middle! This one is not afraid of heights. Her climbing bodes well for future adventures involving height and climbing :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Matt Schipper Photography (Flickr). I remember groing up and how we always made fun of the people in the big city when they would take pictures of all their snow and send them to us. We would laugh because it's what we saw for 6 months of the year and now I'm doing it.Here they are, pictures of snow for you to enjoy. Posted by Rachel @ 6:58 PM. Walking in a Winter Wonderland. Josh came all the way from Smithers to visit Justin and I this weekend, however, last weekend he broke his shoulder snowboarding. Nothing could stop him and on Saturday morning Amylou, Josh and I trekked out to Manning park to visit Jusitn and Carl. Here's Justin trying to figure out how to secure the shoulder. Another Day in the Life. Do not live life moment by moment, but by moments that take your breath away.". Saturday, July 21, 2007. I’m back from Africa. I’m healthy, I’m well, and I can run a lot farther now that all my RBC’s have increased because of the higher elevations. It is good to be home! Here’s an entry from my journal exactly two weeks ago, raw and unedited. I’m sick of being uncomfortable,. Sick of being so squished that every bone and muscle in my young body aches. Sick of squatty potty’s.

Saturday, October 4, 2008. If you are a teacher, you are still in that first month of transition. You have new students to get to know and new class dynamics to figure out. Monday, March 23, 2009. Cypress Falls and Lighthouse Park. On the first sunny day of March Break (a week after it began) Devin and I took a hike to Cypress Falls and around Lighthouse Park. I can now tick off 2 more trails/hikes off my 2009 goal. It was nice to walk in the rainforest and see all the many shades of green. So much moss! Sunday, February 22, 2009. SNOWSHOEING ABOVE THE CLOUDS. Fog in the lower mainland can be really cool and can make you feel as if you are in an airplane flying through the clouds in the sky. But when you have weeks and weeks of fog, it can get to you after a while. Some friends and I decided it was time to get above the fog! We trekked up Seymour Mtn. And did the Dog Mountain trail. It was a great day to head out with some snowshoes and see where the trail would take us. People at the top of the mountain.

I just needed to tell you I really enjoyed the card and confetti you sent Jena- she just walked in the room and announced (all proud of yourself) that she thought of another New Years resolution: To not get pregnant! Hope you thought of a good one. Wish you could join us, Jena is in fine form! December 31, 2009 at 9:57 AM.

Window Into Bayswater

Sharing my progress of becoming part of London's Bayswater community transmitted via my interpretations of the happenings outside my window. Thursday, August 2, 2012. The Bayswater pigeons have been busy. The Agony of Defeat. An area woman, distraught by Team GB's inability to pass North Korea in the Olympic medal count, went on a minor rampage on Westbourne Grove, kicking signs and hurling grade school level expletives before passing out under a table outside Arancina. A look at the practical side of software development. Tuesday, 31 March 2015. What's missing in every programmer's life. You have a burning desire to do the following:. At face value it's easy to brush off, until you recognize the amount of studies out there linking physical activity and positive mood. In other words, if a programmer does nothing to stem the inactivity that their position causes, their mental well being will literally suffer. Posted by Nicholas McRae. Saturday, 14 March 2015. Window into my subconscious

Friday, February 15, 2013. Jim Carrey, Australia, police, and Crack Heads. Ok, this one is really screwed up. I was at a backyard wrestling match at my coworker's Rachel's house, with Jim Carrey (dressed as Freddie Mercury) and Ethan Supplee from "My Name is Earl". I had a dog with me named Max, which will be important later in the dream. Also, it is important to know we were in Australia. Finally we reach Rachel's and I am able to show the police the remains of the wrestling ring in the back yard, and w...

A Window Into My World

A Window Into My World. A collection of things that I write. The Road to You. I wander down the street at night. I stare up at the starry light. Up in the sky, they shine so bright. They all align, it feels just right. The stars alive, but the sky black cold. I wander and wander, and feel so alone. I feel so lost; no part of me found. Alone and helpless, down on the ground. I feel so gone, empty to the core. And all I want is something more. I yearn and beg. I beg and plead. Posted on October 12, 2012.
