If you prefer to see the full menu instead of a short personalised menu in windows, then you can easily turn off the personalise feature rather than having to wait for a full menu to appear. Turn off Personalized Start Menu. Followed by taskbar and startmenu. On the dialog box that should appear, turn off the tick against Use Personalised Menus. To save the changes. Windows XP Service Pack 2 Delayed Again. Microsoft has announced that service pack 2 for windows XP will be further delayed. It was initially due for release earlier in the year and contains new features such as a popup blocker for internet exporer, as well and bug and security fixes. This is a no-win situation for Microsoft, as they get bad press for delaying it, but if they release it before it's working properly then they would get even more bad press. Service Pack 2 for Windows XP finally arrives. Microsft has finally started releasing service pack 2 for windows XP. It is available for download from their website of through Windows Update. Initially only the English version is available, but more languages will be released as soon as they are available. New features include. Pop-up ads blocked in Internet Explorer. Internet connection firewall is now turned on by default. Outlook Express, Internet Explorer and Windows Messenger warn about attachments.
