This all carbon tri is designed with relatively low freeboard as it is supported by lifting foils in the floats. it weighs in under 2kg and will fly the main hull in 6 knots of wind. It’s still a relatively new design but won several races in its first open meeting outing. February 20th, Gosport.

The Ghost Train was designed by Andy McCulloch in the 90’s and is one of the most popular designs around due to the availability of free plans. It is notoriously tricky to sail but with practice is still very competitive once set up correctly. There is a PDF conversion of the original hull plans here.
