Life on the Ledger: July 2007
http://lifeontheledger.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
It's All Coming Together. Today I called Becker Movers and scheduled our move for Saturday, August 11. We have a moving date! This pleases me because we will finally be in our new house and not having to travel between the two. Becker Movers is the service we used when we moved three years ago. They were great to work with and extremely fast! So everything seems to be falling into place. I am very excited to start our life in our new house! Each morning I go to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. Was c...

Life on the Ledger: 3 Going on 30
http://lifeontheledger.blogspot.com/2008/07/3-going-on-30.html
3 Going on 30. My little man turned three years old last Thursday! I just can not believe that three years have gone by so fast. It just doesn't seem possible. We celebrated his birthday 4th of July weekend while we were visiting my husband's family in Saranac Lake. The little man had an absolute ball eating cake and ice cream, opening presents, and the evening was topped off with a great display of fireworks which he thoroughly enjoyed. Me: So you would like some new clothes AND a camera of your own?

Everyone has all the answers. You know the old proverb, "You won't know me, or understand my blues; until you have walked awhile in my shoes." It's funny how people seem to forget it and act as if they have all the answers when you are going through something personally and are just looking for a shoulder to lean on or someone to listen. 3 Going on 30. Life on the Ledger: November 2007
http://lifeontheledger.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
In an earlier post I mentioned that I was working on the downstairs full bathroom. It's done except for a few details and I thought I would post some before and after pictures of my fine work! Please note that the items you see in the before pictures are from the previous owner and she left much of it when she moved out. While country can be nice, too much of it is more than I can handle. My other favorite Thanksgiving treat is the newspaper with all of the Black Friday ads! So I want to wish everyone a ...

Sarah McLachlan says it best. I love the time. The calm inside me in the space. Where I can breathe. I believe there is a distance. I have wandered to touch upon the years of. To no one else but me. And I'll defend it as long as. Left here to linger. I know this love. Passing through like liquid. I am drunk in my desire. But I love the way you smile at me. I love the way your hands reach out and. To no one else but me. And I'll defend it as long as. Left here to linger. Oh the quiet child. View my page on.

Life on the Ledger: February 2008

To Albany I Go! The picture above is of the SUNY System Administration. This building will be where I will spend the next two days with the exception of a small break Thursday night where I will find my usual seat at the hotel bar with Bob the Bartender and my SUNY friends from other campuses! But like I said.each trip is a whirlwind of activities and I will be home before I know it! It can be frustrating and try your patience, but it is worth it in the end. This pictures just makes me laugh! YesI know i...

Life on the Ledger: August 2007

Moving In and Moving On. I laughed, but had a hard time imagining just leaving your child, whether it's the first or the tenth, in their dorm room and going right home after you unloaded everything. So it was fun day and I will gladly do it again next year! And I would like to point out that three different parents asked what year I was in! That means alot once you turn 30. What Color Orange Are You? I think this quiz describes me a bit better. You Are Apple Red. What Color Red Are You? And more than you...

Life on the Ledger: It's All About You
http://lifeontheledger.blogspot.com/2008/07/its-all-about-you.html
It's All About You. As children we grow up thinking the every day activities of our family are normal. Normal is a relative word, it can mean so many different things to people. As we become adults, leave home, and start own families I believe the things from our past that we once thought were "normal" become more apparent and we begin to question events of our past. I thank you for that. I truly do. I wanted desperately to jump into the ring and yell "Those are my friends! Can they be bothersome? But th...
