Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Irish Male in Crisis. Now, we could laugh for hours about how the separation of the Irish male from his number one slave (the stereotypical Irish Mammy) has inevitably led to this crisis in Irish masculinity or, perhaps we could roll out the old jokes about how all women inevitably turn out like their mothers. But, with a little more consideration, I believe something more serious is troubling the Irish male. Posted by Beth Bond @ 9/28/2005 11:24:00 pm. I had you at 'hello!

Tuesday, January 31, 2006. If music be the food of love, play on! I'm going to Chicago. For some Palace Music where I can take Julie London off the turntable for Julie Feeney. Come on Feel the Illinois-e. As I let my self slip, slide away into century 21 to the beat of a much different, more magical drum! And so, to my anonymous friend I say, Thank you for the music, the songs I’m singing, Thanks for all the joy they’re bringing, Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty? What would life be? Tuesday, April 25, 2006. The illustrations really set these books apart from the standard children's book range. Child mixes photography with simple line sketches and collage effects with great results that really challenge children's visual and sensual perceptions of the world around them. A Complete Explanation Of Everything. Monday, September 25, 2006. Sunday roast: shelley, susan bluechild, rebecca collins. A report from the frontline of the irish music scene. Played host last night to the Sunday Roast. An acoustic type get together in Dublin's city centre supposedly aimed at those wishing to simply chill out from the excess of Saturday night. Rather more advanced in years than the main act, you'd wonder what Shelley's goals actually are in terms of music in Dublin at this point. If...

A Complete Explanation Of Everything. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. You're living in the past. Stop living in the past. - Part 1. There's hasn't been nearly enough angsty struggling musician updates on this blog. I shall seek to remedy this right now. Where did it all begin?
