Soak 1 cup of raw almonds overnight. In the morning, slip the almonds out of their skins (or cheat.and don't). Blend with 4 cups water, a few dates, and some vanilla. Strain through cheesecloth. (you can use the meat leftover to make pancakes or bread- or feed the chickens). It will last several days in the fridge.
