Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Tonight we had a little New Year's Party at dinner - seafood feast - oysters, crab cakes, and stone crab claws. Toasting the new year with sparkling cider (and OJ for Michael). Matt proposed to me 9 years ago this night! He's still the light of my life-. Looks like Michael enjoyed the chocolate cream pie! Mom and Dad (Nanny and Pop) are visiting us for about 2 weeks, and today we celebrated our first birthday of the visit, Dad's 72nd. He had a lot of help opening his gifts from the boys!

Saturday, August 8, 2015. Today was Michael's Kindergarten orientation at Freeport Elementary. His teacher is Mrs Griffith, the same as Anthony's. We went over information in the classroom and then had a tour of the school. Cookies in the Cafeteria, Mrs Griffith is in the long pink dress at the back. Michaels favorite room - the gym! His classroom. Mrs Griffith will be moving her classroom to one of the nice new rooms which will be finishing construction in the next few weeks. August 9, 2015 at 7:22 PM.

The Adventures of Maggie and Ingrid. Sunday, August 17, 2014. After a very cool week, with temperatures in the 70s and low-80s, I decided to take the girls to Colonial Williamsburg. Alas it's not nice to fool Mother Nature and she put the temperature up in the high 90s. And the girls, who live in the cooler mountains, weren't terribly well prepared. Monday, August 31, 2015. I haven't posted a video of the boys playing piano in awhile, so here they are after 8 months of lessons:. Thursday, January 22, 2015. Lately Michael has really started to seem like a big boy, which is wonderful but also bittersweet. I can't believe he'll be finishing preschool in only a few months. When we go to Lego Club at the library Michael also participates in the "reading with dogs" program. Here he reads to both dogs, Buster Brown the dachshund and Duffy the terrier. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Today was the final game of our 6-week basketball season, we finished the season with zero wins and 6 losses, but the kids certainly learned a lot during the season. Here are 2 videos Matt took during the game. It was fun coaching, and next year I may do it again since both Anthony and Michael can play on the same team. Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
