Windy Row Learning Center is the only nonprofit in the Monadnock Region that specializes in tutoring children in reading and math. Founded in 2003 and located in West Peterborough, New Hampshire, we help children reach grade level in reading and math. Skip to main content. Adults Describe the Gift of Difference. Many children cannot learn to read in a standard classroom; they need one-on-one tutoring. They need to hear, see, touch, write and say the letters and sounds of the alphabet. Since 2003, Windy Row has given children from kindergarten to grade 10 the gift of reading. Most children gain one year of reading skill for each year of tutoring sometimes they gain two or even three years. Once they learn how to read, they keep their skills forever.
