Grad school acceptance is done. Grad school housing is iffy. My dad is doing amazingly well two weeks post op. He's ready to run away and join the circus, I think, because he's so bored. My Gluten Free Thanksgiving. We're waiting on the last of the food to finish, but I am quite proud of my GF Thanksgiving feast:. Cornbread dressing (make with scratch GF cornbread). Smoked Turkey (didn't even have to smoke it! Bought it from a local fundraiser). Corn casserole (corn, onions, corn starch, sour cream, spices topped with crushed corn chex). Antipasto platter of veggies, hummus, spinach dip, rice crackers. Cheddar Garlic biscuits using GF Bisquick. Post a new comment. Post a new comment.

I am far more excited about the noodles. If you've never dabbled in the gluten free noodle world, you pretty much have three choices:. 1 Rice Noodles/Pasta - Up side? Gluten Free. Down side? Expensive, super high in calories and carbs. 200 calories for a serving. Also, they have a taste you have to get used to. 2 Corn Pasta - Up side? Gluten free, sweet tasting. Great for kugel. But today I have to tell you about an amazing bottle of wine that we had last night. It was an Australian Red that was highly recommended by our wine steward friend Lucia Matheny. The wine is called Molly Dooker, Two Left Feet. It is a 2012 blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. All I can say is that it was magnificent! Or watch the YouTube video.
