Cabbage Eats Yarn: February 2008
http://cabbageeatsyarn.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
I'm a librarian. Don't make me shush your ass. Sunday, February 17, 2008. Ramona by Jared Flood. From the book Sensual Knits. Knit with a little more than 8 skeins of Jaeger Extra Fine Merino DK. In "Ocean," size US 7 needles. No mods. I wish I'd knit the smallest size, as the yoke is a bit baggy. I am not sure what happened, since I got gauge and am a 36" bust (I knit the 34" bust size). Oh well, I like it anyway! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Columbus, Ohio, United States.

http://cabbageeatsyarn.blogspot.com/2009/01/cowly-cowly.html
I'm a librarian. Don't make me shush your ass. Saturday, January 03, 2009. Happy New Year to everyone! Depresses the crap out of me, but I actually really love starting a New Year. Clean slate and all that. With that said, I still have several 2008 FOs about which I need to blog! I somehow ended up on a cowl jag (probably all of the queued cowls in my Rav queue taunting me) and knit five cowls this past fall (because you know, winter just started less than two weeks ago! Behold my warm neck. I'm a bit le...

Cabbage Eats Yarn: April 2008
http://cabbageeatsyarn.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
I'm a librarian. Don't make me shush your ass. Thursday, April 03, 2008. Here is my mom's Mother's Day/birthday present, modeled by me:. Erm, my mom is thinner than me. So I think it will fit her well. Me, not so much! But I'm happy with it, it came out well and it steam blocked like a champ. From Sensual Knits. I knit the smallest size (tiny Mommy) and I knit it on a smaller needle size than recommended. I did this because I have knit with this yarn before. And that's all I have to say about that.

I'm a librarian. Don't make me shush your ass. Thursday, January 29, 2009. Great yarn basic color basic-but-still-interesting pattern = love! I scored a bag of this yarn. On sale and knew I wanted to make a really basic black cardigan out of it. Then along came the perfect pattern. I have a sweater. I knit the pattern as written except I made decreases in the arms (the pattern is top-down and has you knit the sleeves straight. I'm pretty much over bell sleeves at this point.).
