Milton Riesling 2009 | Wine of Tasmania
https://wineoftasmania.wordpress.com/2010/04/26/milton-riesling-2009
A Tribute to Tasmania's Wonderful Wines. Laquo; Milton Iced Riesling 2008. 26 April 2010 by Tim O'Shea. Pale and limpid. Attractive and complex nose – floral, apples and hay. Palate follows the nose. Nice acid – that is, not excessive – that complements the wine’s flavour profile. Good palate length. 3 and a half stars. Tasted at the winery on 25 April 2010. 2300, 750ml, 12% alc. A Tribute to Tasmania's Wonderful Wines. Laquo; Motton Terraces Unwooded Chardonnay 2007. Highland Brae Chardonnay 2008. Bream Creek Schonburger 2008. 13 May 2010 by Tim O'Shea. Straw gold to the eye. Pleasing complex floral/raisiny nose. Moderate acid and quite dry. Clear spicey notes while on the palate. A hint of phenolic attack late on the palate. Good length. I have seen earlier vintages with more residual sugar, and liked them a little more. Tasted at home 11 May 2010. Three and a half stars.

A Tribute to Tasmania's Wonderful Wines. Laquo; Milton Riesling 2009. Three Willows Vineyard Cool Climate White 2007. 26 April 2010 by Tim O'Shea. I didn’t take much notice of this wine when I tasted it in 2009. After a year in the cellar, it is demonstrating somewhat more character. Mid gold with green lights in the glass. Cashews and interesting savory character on the nose. Solid palate of melons and cashews, with good length and clean satisfying end. 3 and a half stars. Winemaker – Guy Wagner.

Wine Often -
My husband and I have only been wine lovers for about six years, but we (mostly him) are already "Wine Snobs"! We seem to always be in some phase of a home remodel! With work, home remodeling and a daughter starting high school, cooking and wine (and hopefully a few camping trips), will get me through these next few stressful months and years. Wine Of The Moment
Wine Of The Moment. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Radiance - 2007; Rancho Ponte; Fredericksburg, Texas. It's always nice to pour a good old white wine that has aged well. The deep golden yellow color is always a pleasure to gaze at as one sizes up the vino before sipping. Radiance is a slightly sweet Riesling made by Rancho Ponte. Take a few sips and the melon and pear flavors unfold. After sipping and smelling, you'll enjoy how the fruit notes lend themselves to a fruit salad like feel. Wine Of The Moment.
