You know how wine can taste different than you remembered depending on what you ate, your mood, your palate, etc at the time. Well that being said, I change the Cabernet Franc from being Average to Good. I was very pleased at Jay Swan’s birthday. Very pleased. Subtle Chocolate black cherry on the nose which flows through the mouth with a nicely tannic dry finish, however acidity is very mild. I would definitely pair this wine with chocolate. Good balance between fruit, tannin, and alcohol. Full body. If you like these unique fruit characteristics, but also want the long lasting dry finish, then this is your wine. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; TempraTantrum – 2008 Tempranillo/Grenache. Chateau Plince – Pomerol – 2005. Had the last glass of this French wine opened the previous night. Very strong tannins, especially for a wine 6 years old and opened the previous night. This wine could have probably sat for 10 to 20 plus years. Acidity and fruit were nicely mixed but the dryness stood out. Very vegetal bouquet and taste of stone and subtle green pepper. Feed You can leave a response. From your own site.

Toscana Rosso 2006 is an Italian red wine that has a violet aroma with black cherry and subtle oak tasting notes and long mouth drying finish. It’s another cheap $6.99 bottle that seems to be everywhere I go. If you are in the mood for something really dry and are strapped for cash, then I say go for it. Not bad for the price.
