FARM STAY /WINERY COTTAGE. HOW WE GROW OUR VINES. The vineyard of 18ha is planted on brown loam /red clay soils in an area that enjoys a long growing season, with low incidence of disease and usually a dry autumn for harvest. The vines are planted on a 3mx2m grid running north/south and trained to a vertical shoot position trellis. Is now managed organically. As is the olive grove,. We now have full Biodynamic. FARM STAY /WINERY COTTAGE. A huge STRAW BALE. Building was completed ’99/2000 and functions as the winery, the insulation qualities of the straw are very good. The building is also used for wine tastings and dinners. The views over the vineyard are magnificent.
