Years of depression in high school and university eventually led me to resign from a promising medical career and begin a perilous internal journey. I was in my early twenties at the time. I was looking to find a sense of all-knowing, achieving a state of much greater insight and awareness. After months of self imposed isolation, and internal struggle, I eventually found what I was searching for. It wasn't at all what I expected. I no longer suffer depression.
