Saturday, June 9, 2012. We had our end of year Joy School Celebration this week! Mykelle will be starting 1/2 day Kindergarten in the fall and Evan will be doing. who knows what yet! The party was super simple and fun. We had a quick bite to eat followed by a short program- the kids absolutely loved it! Waiting for the party to start! The Joy School Cheer! Graduation Bubbles were more exciting than the graduation certificate :). Preschool Class of 2012! They are only 3 and 4! Posing" I love Evan's pose!

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Aunt Taryl and Grandma Vicky's Visit! Taryl and her mom have been on the East Coast for the last 10 days- they flew out to see Caleb's graduation from Harvard! Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Christmas Vacation in Utah (Part Two). I had to wake the kids up in the morning to get them going! We wanted to be sure to open stockings and family presents before the extended family arrived for brunch and present opening. It was fun having the kids come up the stairs and go into the living room to see the presents from Santa laid out on the floor with the stockings next to them, just as I had experienced as a child. Showing off new Spiderman socks! Just what she asked for!

I was supposed to travel to SLC for a thyroid needle-biopsy and as seems to happen way too often, a snowstorm got in the way so I've had to cancel! My doc told me he'd call me with results anywhere from 3-7 days later. On the off chance the results were in the computer before then, I checked my chart online… I want to be shocked that I could read my results before they were given to me but I'm too happy the results were exactly what I wanted to see :). Tuesday, July 10, 2012. I went in to the cancer center last week on Friday for what I thought was a routine CBC blood check. I ended up being surprised with the suggestion that we go ahead with the bone marrow transplant the next week, July 11th rather than the 18th. I was completely taken unaware, and got upset immediately! I had everything all planned out! I'm very excited to have an extra week to get things together and looking forward to spending a weekend with my family and my mother-in-law!

Saturday, May 25, 2013. Cancer Free, and tired as can be! My 9 month PETscan results came in a couple weeks ago and they are clear! No sign of disease recurrence! Pretty amazing, though life continues to have it's ups and downs, we were quite happy about this last scan- it was a biggie!
