Ikebana is the art of arranging flowers. In Japanese "ike" means to arrange and "bana" comes from from the word "hana" meaning flower. In Ikebana the flowers and branches are arranged so that they appear in a beautiful, simple, and natural way. You will need 3 lengths of floral material:. Stem one 1 times width or length of dish. Stem two length of stem one. Stem three length of stem two. Place stem one at 11 o’clock and lean it 10 to 30 degrees toward your left shoulder.

Last week, on Cape Cod, my friend Diana and I were treated to several sightings of large flocks of Canada geese, (made us super proud to be Canadians too). My sunflowers are ripening and readying themselves to be feeder fillers. Monday, August 10th, 2015. When my son said to me I was "for the birds" I wasn't the least bit offended. In fact, I too had something to sing about - a brand new website!
