We offer stabling for horses for both the bed and breakfast and the cottage at £15/horse/night. Wingstone is the perfect base for enjoying the fantastic moorland trekking and hunting this area has to offer. Within minutes you can be on the open moor. Bed and breakfast accommodation. The guest rooms in the farmhouse are comfortable and well equipped and enjoy outstanding views across to Hayne down and the famous Bowerman's nose. Our cosy, well equipped self-catering cottage is located across the yard in an attractive converted granary. It sleeps 5 in a double, a twin and a single room. A cot can be provided on request. The kitchen and living room are on the first floor of the cottage to enjoy the wonderful views of Hayne Down and Bowermans Nose. There is a bathroom with bath and shower on the ground floor. The 24 hour, gruelling, wet and downright miserable route through a cold, January night is curiously enjoyed by many of the competitors. I was there exclusively for Revolution Magazine.
