Monday, 24 May 2010. I was so inspired yesterday evening, sitting in the garden and looking at all the pretty flowers to get out some linen and some embroidery thread and sew some flowers. I haven't really done any/much freehand embroidery as such before (I used to do a lot of cross stitch), but I think this works. No marks were made on the linen! Sunday, 19 August 2012. 5 more working days. Until my mini holiday! I am going to St Ives for 4 nights with the lovely Mr P, I am so looking forward to getting away and having some "me" time. I love St Ives, it is the most gorgeous little place - I could live there quite happily. This weekend I went to Usk Castle with my sister, brother in law and niece. Sunday, 24 June 2012. My sister and brother in law kindly took me and Deakon on Holibobs to Bluestone! It was gorgeous there :). We went to Narberth, Tenby, Saundersfoot, and Folly Farm. We played archery, Deakon went on the climbing wall, Emmy went on a bug hunt and we all had fun in the Blue Lagoon water park! Jaime, Jon and Emmy in the rain! Me on a rainy beach. Sunday, 26 February 2012. What lovely weather we've had, so nice that on Saturday and today me and Deakon went out for some fresh air! On Saturday we went to St Fagans. Which is a Welsh National History Museum. It is an open air Museum but has little houses that you can go around and the St Fagans Castle and grounds. It quite big so we had a bit of a trek around it! Thursday, 17 January 2013. I've had a pretty rubbish start to the year :(. I went to the good old doctors after New Years day as I have been having the most horrid pains in my stomach, along the belly button and just above. The Dr, not having a clue what was wrong, gave me some acid reducing tablets and said it may be an ulcer and to come back in a week if not any better. The following Monday morning I am back at the GP after a painful week, she refers me to the hospital. Yuk! From the girls at work.

Organised by the equally lovely Debbie, Bea's Vintage Extravaganza. Held at Grantham College was an absolute delight! And dancers too, what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
