Dazzled by a Southern Star. The 29th of January was Lord’s Taverners Wednesday. At a gathering in the Boardwalk Gallery at Wrest Point we enjoyed the company of Jim Maxwell, ABC commentary legend, Tony Harrison, Chairman of Cricket Tasmania and the recently retired Southern Stars legend Lisa Sthalekar. It can now be exclusively revealed that there is a trophy, and it’s called the Aus-Africa Trophy. Imaginative, eh? Lisa Sthalekar looking relaxed at brunch. First female awarded Indigenous Cricketer of the Year. Lord's Taverners New South Wales Chair Roger Ringwood presents Ashleigh Gardner. With the Lord’s Taverners Indigenous Cricketer of the Year Trophy. NSW all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner IS named the Lord’s Taverners Indigenous Cricketer of the Year for 2014-15.
