Music | The Commonplace Project
https://commonplaceproject.wordpress.com/2010/01/25/music
Classical pedagogy meets the technological revolution. January 25, 2010. If possible, leave a link to the youtube video of the song. Filed in topic of the week. 3 Responses to “Music”. January 25, 2010 at 5:37 pm. I don’t always like the songs of this style just because the music isn’t my favorite and the words don’t adress something I’m dealing with usually. https://commonplaceproject.wordpress.com/2010/03/29/topic-of-the-week-the-blog
Classical pedagogy meets the technological revolution. Topic of the Week: The Blog. March 29, 2010. For your last assignment, I want you to give me some feedback on the blogs themselves. Some things to consider: What did you like/dislike about it? What was the hardest part of keeping up a blog? What would you change if you had it to do over again? Was it valuable or a hassle? Filed in topic of the week. 4 Responses to “Topic of the Week: The Blog”. March 29, 2010 at 8:06 pm. March 29, 2010 at 9:43 pm.

Classical pedagogy meets the technological revolution. Topic of the week: Tebow. February 2, 2010. Ok, so you need to read this article. The debate over the Tebow ad focuses on whether television companies should allow “advocacy” ads during sporting events (interestingly, CBS refused to air an ad this year for a gay dating web site, saying it might offend some viewers). What do you think? Should sports be separate from political/religious advocacy? Post your responses here…. Filed in topic of the week.

https://commonplaceproject.wordpress.com/2010/03/22/topic-of-the-week-health-care
Classical pedagogy meets the technological revolution. Topic of The Week: Health care. March 22, 2010. That’s right, I said health care. Everyone’s talking about it, so why not us, too? 1) What do you think about the government passing the health care reform bill the other day? 2) Is it a good or bad thing? 3) Why do you think it is good/bad? Or) How did you arrive at this conclusion? Please answer each of the questions listed above. You can even keep my numbering. Filed in topic of the week. Secondly, a...

Classical pedagogy meets the technological revolution. Topic of the week: CSW. March 8, 2010. If you had the opportunity to start a brand new high school (and run it however you wanted), what would you do differently/the same from CSW? What kinds of things would be the most important to you, and what things would you completely get rid of? Filed in topic of the week. 3 Responses to “Topic of the week: CSW”. Classical pedagogy meets the technological revolution. Topic of the Week: DuBois. February 23, 2010. Ok, so you got away with one last week. (In the future, if I forget to post a topic, you are only responsible for one post.). What has this Beauty to do with the world? What has Beauty to do with Truth and Goodness — with the facts of the world and the right actions of men? Here is your question (actually, it’s like 3 questions):. Do you agree or disagree with this idea? You should note that it’s not.

Topic of the week: Valentine’s Day | The Commonplace Project
https://commonplaceproject.wordpress.com/2010/02/09/topic-of-the-week-valentines-day
Classical pedagogy meets the technological revolution. Topic of the week: Valentine’s Day. February 9, 2010. Three related questions to consider this week. You may answer them here, or on your blogs. 1 How old do you think someone should have to be before their parents allow them to date (or court, if you are an advocate of courtship)? How did you determine this? 2 How old do you have to be to fall “in love” (in the romantic sense of the word)? 3 How do (will) you know when you are in love? 3 How do (wil...

Winsome Wonder | be amazed by the ordinary
Be amazed by the ordinary. My Experience as a Bride. My Experience as a Bride. My wedding is in 35 days. Normally the posts on this site will have a timeless nature. Ideas that apply to humanity as a whole, that don’t decay with time and are important to more souls than my own. However, this post is more of a rant. This post is an exception. Either way, it is a post that I need to write. And the question I have been asked during my time as a bride more than any other is:. 8220;Are you excited? Blood suga...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Winsome Words…. hahaha. Bull;February 26, 2010 • 1 Comment. Well I know the title of my blog has always been a a misnomer; seeing that I only get on here about once a month and have little to nothing useful to say. But ah, what the heck. I’m tired of this thing pulling down my grade. So for lack of anything else to say I will merely point out that well… I’m really tired, in a bad mood, and sick of not being able to do this blog consistently. Days without pop…. These are...

Saturday, April 5, 2014. 8220;Spring Pink Nest” by Tina C. Wells, acrylic on canvas. JOURNEY: Mission San Juan Capistrano. That has a very different ascetic (modern and artsy) from the regal and traditional Catholic Church. My son and I soaked it up, and appreciated that we are all followers of Christ. It was a lovely and meaningful spot to visit this Easter season. The swallows mud nests at the Mission. The original entrance to the Mission. "RESURGAM" means "I shall rise again.". I adore this treat!
