What Is Study Support? The marking of AS and Advanced GCE is the same. Whenever a grade is awarded, the boundary for each grade is determined by the percentage awarded of the maximum possible mark, as follows:-. Grade A – 80% or above. Grade B – 70% or above but less than 80%. Grade C – 60% or above but less than 70%. Grade D – 50% or above but less than 60%. Grade E – 40% or above but less than 50%. Grade U – less than 40%. Grade U is Unclassifed. AS GCE (1 unit). AS/Advanced GCE (2 units).
