Artichokes and Pink Martini: November 2005
http://sandyhere.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Artichokes and Pink Martini. Sunday, November 27, 2005. Thanksgiving is becoming my most favorite holiday. Once that holiday that I dreaded (long story), Thanksgiving has been my favorite holiday in 04 and O5, thanks entirely to family. This year we visited Arroyo Grande, CA (near Santa Barbara). Ya know, the beach, the sun, not a bad place to fly to in November. Did we mention that sneaky Ken had a painting party planned for us on Saturday? Posted by Sandy @ 10:30 PM. Tuesday, November 22, 2005. And for...

Artichokes and Pink Martini: July 2005
http://sandyhere.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Artichokes and Pink Martini. Sunday, July 31, 2005. What a fabulous weekend! The weather couldn't have been better, it was definitely a weekend to be out and about. Katie and I went to Ethnic Fest. At Wrights Park, not once but twice! There is Katie doing what she loves, shopping. But she showed a lot of restraint and didn't buy a thing. Yesterday we also caught this great Seattle band called Picoso. If you ever get a chance to hear them, go! Posted by Sandy @ 6:12 PM. Friday, July 29, 2005. A week in th...

Artichokes and Pink Martini: December 2005
http://sandyhere.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Artichokes and Pink Martini. Thursday, December 29, 2005. Shop til ya drop! But it was green! Not so shocking. And if you think I handed my camera to a total stranger to take our picture, you'd be wrong. We ran into a friend of Robert's, Howard, and he was gracious enough to do the dirty deed for us. Posted by Sandy @ 8:34 PM. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Pink Martini in Seattle. Pink Martini came to the Paramount and we were there. It was fabulous (like I would say anything else! This was the moment th...

The mumblings of a scientist, knitter, and bay area newbie. Laquo; #2 Fess Up. Monkey Sock Swap 3. October 26, 2007 by periodicmumbling. Oh little blog, I miss you so much, but I am almost never home any more to update (never home in the best possible way, because it means that I am out and about doing fun things). They were simple to knit. I cast on 60 stitches and did a K3P3 rib for nine inches before casting off. The yarn is Perchance to Knit (sport? I’m off for a weekend in Monterey. I love them all!

Artichokes and Pink Martini: April 2005
http://sandyhere.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Artichokes and Pink Martini. Saturday, April 30, 2005. Yoga and Pink Martini. A wonderful Saturday, all the way around. My wonderful Yoga Instructor, Christine, started class by saying that the music was for me. And then Amado Mio filled the room. I knew it was going to be a great day. Yoga and Pink Martini. And not just one song on a home burned cd, but Sympatique in it's glorious entirety. How could the day be anything but great? A day with the girls! What a good day! Posted by Sandy @ 10:00 PM. Artichokes and Pink Martini: August 2005
http://sandyhere.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Artichokes and Pink Martini. Saturday, August 27, 2005. First we picked out pots that Terri and Jimmy had already thrown and fired. So many choices, so little time. The next step was to wax the parts that we wanted to remain black, like Katie is doing here, and then dip it into the glaze so it is ready to be fired. This is a great picture of our last firing run as these pots are ready to come out of the kiln. Isn't it cool looking in the dark? And finally viola' POTS! Posted by Sandy @ 11:45 PM. And my p...

Artichokes and Pink Martini: January 2006
http://sandyhere.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Artichokes and Pink Martini. Saturday, January 28, 2006. Derek is still the most popular guy in town. Tiffany's parents came up from California to meet their grandson, They all stopped by for lunch on Saturday. Derek behaved like a pro and slept throughout lunch so the grown ups could chat. I must report that Derek's grandparents are very nice people and I thouroughly enjoyed the afternoon. I hope that we all can visit again soon. Posted by Sandy @ 6:24 PM. Friday, January 27, 2006.
