J Mita Studios Photography. Hartford Area Hiking Group. Thursday, April 14, 2011. Spring Walk - Rivers and the Neighborhood. The air was soft and easy as I followed the Hockanum River in Ellington. http://juneswalksandthoughts.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
J Mita Studios Photography. Hartford Area Hiking Group. Thursday, January 27, 2011. The day drew me to Mansfield Lake. The snow covered lake and the tundra like airfield seemed picturesque, until I began to notice the wind shaped snow everywhere. The sparkle in the sun, and the wild, carefree carving of the snow became my subjects. It was like peering into a glacier, the edge of the world in miniature. It was the edge of a canyon. J Mita Studios Photography. Hartford Area Hiking Group. Monday, May 2, 2011. The Day America Died - Sept. 11, 2001 - A memorial upon the capture and death of Osama Bin Laden. Sept 11, 2001. We have received terrorist attacks this morning. I have been upset as I watch the news and see the World Trade Center on fire, and the Pentagon. Two planes creashed into the World Trade Center and it seems they were hijacked. The World Trade Centers Towers are collapsing, one has lost its upper portion. Now a car bomb...

When I got home from work today, I let the girls stay up and we played outside. I decided to grab a couple of the chicks and let them enjoy the day.
