Just another WordPress.com site. April 27, 2012. On caring ‘too much’. I’m feel really stuck. Really torn. So I’m just going to write it out. I guess that’s the irony of being a doctor or a therapist or anything like that. You are paid to care. It’s the very nature of your job. You have to care, even when instinctually you mightn’t. But it’s also your job not to care too much, not to get ‘involved’. A shitty kind of balance for humanity really isn’t it? Where to from here with me and the doc?

For clarity, for anyone reading this, I see a psychologist and a therapist. The former for kind of everyday functioning, practical improvement, like eating/sleeping/work/anxiety.
