Eighty-eight days in Asuncion. This slideshow requires JavaScript. The house is about 10 – 15 minutes from the center of Asuncion. As you can see from the pictures, it’s a very pretty house. There are four bedrooms upstairs and lots of living space downstairs. At the back of the house is a sun room where the family barbeques on Sunday. Eighty-eight days in Asuncion. July 9, 2013. Ciudad Perdida: A Trek to Indigenous Ruins in the Sierra Nevadas de Santa Marta. This trek might easily be one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced, but on the first day, I had serious doubts about whether I’d actually make it! We began in a small town called Machete Peloa, and initially the path began gently winding beside a river. After about 30 minutes, we began the ascent! Where a house once stood in Ciudad Perdida.
