Thursday, 13 May 2010. A Big Fat Ta-Dah! What can I say, but I am over the moon excited as my living/dining room is finally finished. It only took 3 1/2 months! Now it wasn't as if we had to knock down walls, wallpaper or put down new floors or anything major, although Mr. P did have to fit a curved skirting board around the bay window (which had been missing for 10 years and was so very draughty, the skirting board that is, not the window, ha ha! I have a twin brother who is 3 hours 20 minutes older than me. I looked at buying another storage unit but gave up and came home to find the perfect one lurking on the garage! It's not very pretty but I might give it a coat of paint when I get the chance. Here are pics of the not yet finished log cabin, made from a jelly roll given to me by a lovely friend. I'm planning to put it on the wall of my workroom as the colours go really well. Monday, 5 July 2010. Summer so far has been so beautiful! I just have to keep taking photos of the flowers around - especially the roses.
