Thursday, August 07, 2008. August 7th, 2008: SAN DIEGO COMIC CON REPORT! The show itself was as massive and crowded as ever. If you've ever read about (or been to) the San Diego Comic Con, you no doubt already know about how overwhelming it can be! Once again, the COMIC CONJOB book sold out. No matter how many I bring, they never seem to be enough. And although there was no new COMIC CONJOB at the show this year, I promise there will be a COMIC CONJOB 4 at SDCC 2009! COMIC CONJOB SELLS OUT. AGAIN! I didn...

Planet Karen: Commissions
http://planet-karen.blogspot.com/2006/05/commissions.html
It just occured to me that I can draw. Yeah, I know, it was a shock to me too. What I mean is, it occured to me that people could pay me to draw stuff for them. Yay. Finally this whole drawing gig starts to pay off. Also extra (but basically just P&P for that). Posted by Karen Ellis @ 1:30 AM. I could go for a Homie Bear in full-on pirate garb, because next monmth will be Pirate Month on my blog. Could you do a polar or grizzly in pirate paraphernelia? Don't really need a bgd, but maybe colour.

RadVfx Journal: July 2011
http://radvfx.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 18, 2011. Well, I've been anticipating this moment for a year. When me and my minions would attempt to take over the Comic-Con. Floor once again. Of course, this year, we've opened the mirror and let the invasion through. Yes, the Zombie Bunnies are coming! They arrived this afternoon, and I was never sure that they would, but here they are. They look amazing and I owe it all to Kim (since I left their creation in her very capable hands). Come by and exploit their soft fluffiness!

Planet Karen: Frequently Asked Questions
http://planet-karen.blogspot.com/2006/06/frequently-asked-questions.html
Because Occasionally Asked Questions. Makes it sound like a tree. Why is the date on the comic always ten days behind the actual date? Is this really your diary? This question is answered here. Can you tell me a bit more about yourself? I publish a daily diary of my inmost thoughts. If that doesn't say enough about me, tough. Why don't you do your comics in colour? They'd look really good and more people would like them. Is Planet Karen available as an actual comic I can read on the bus?

Planet Karen: Tuesday 18 July
http://planet-karen.blogspot.com/2006/07/tuesday-18-july.html
Posted by Karen Ellis @ 5:01 PM. I drove to work yesterday, and the road was blocked with a big sign "Street Closed." At the end of the day I came back home, and the street was open. All of the street had been stripped off by some infernal machine (Glad I wasn't there for that). And now, this morning, the street is closed again. But no workmen, only signs. I'm Karen and this is my diary. Purveyors of fine small press comics. Junk, hit these buttons:.
