Special dedication to Kyle, he is the one who raised this issue and found the solution. :-). When using WPA, you can also enable key rotation "on membership termination" (every time a cl...

CCIE Wireless: 802.11h Parameters

http://wirelessccie.blogspot.com/2009/08/80211h-parameters.html

A blog with tips, tricks and tutorials to help you prepare your CCIE Wireless lab exam. Friday, August 14, 2009. If you are used to exploring your controller features and pages, you probably know this page, under Wireless 802.11a DFS (802.11h). It is probably the page that generates most questions when I teach the Cisco Wireless Mesh classes, as 802.11h is often not well understood. From this instant, your AP has 10 seconds to move to another channel. This is called the channel move time. After 30 minute...

Ιlιιlι. networking with passion. Friday, February 26, 2010. EBGP peering with Loopbacks: AD problems. While I'm 3 days at home ill, I've started reading the great " Routing TCP/IP Vol.II. From Cisco Press, and playing a little with bgp to refresh my knowledge on that. During my tests I've encountered some small interesting and funny things:. CCIE Wireless Pursuit….Lab! Find a job you like and you add five days to every week. Lab Equipment – Software. AP Join Process – Master Controller vs DHCP,DNS. May 16, 2010. DHCP and DNS point to 2106 which is not configured as the Master Controller. 4402 is configured as Master Controller and lives on a different network than the AP. The AP has been erased by the controller and reset to factory defaults. The AP surprised me again as it did not join the WLC configured as the Master and joined the 2106.
