Reflections from the Hogan: A Prayer of Indigenous Peoples
http://wirelesshogan.blogspot.com/2013/04/a-prayer-of-indigenous-peoples.html
Reflections from the Hogan. Thursday, April 18, 2013. A Prayer of Indigenous Peoples. Yesterday morning I sat in my home here on the Navajo Reservation and watched a live webcast of the "Evangelical Immigration Table". I felt impotent, tired, angry and frustrated. For on my screen Christians were rallying around and celebrating the introduction of a bi-partisan immigration reform bill that was being introduced by the "Gang of 8" Senators. But to no avail. I don't understand it. Am I mute? And I am tired.

Reflections from the Hogan: The Dilemma of the Fourth of July
http://wirelesshogan.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-dilemma-of-fourth-of-july_11.html
Reflections from the Hogan. Thursday, June 11, 2015. The Dilemma of the Fourth of July. Gallup was recently named "Most Patriotic Small Town in America" in a nationwide contest. Reflections from the Hogan: The Declaration of Independence, the Washington Redsk*ns and merciless Indian Savages

Reflections from the Hogan. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. The Declaration of Independence, the Washington Redsk*ns and merciless Indian Savages. Last week I visited the National Archives in Washington DC and personally viewed the original document of the Declaration of Independence. Did you know that 30 lines below the famous quote "All men are created equal" the founders of this nation referred to Native Americans as "merciless Indian Savages? This is why our schools teach that America was "Discovered"....
