Institute & Library. Visit us at The Craft House 🙂. The Wirrabara Craft House. Is a community run venture which provides an outlet for local crafts people within a radius of 50 km. Volunteers are on duty every day of the week from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm to help you with. Take away coffee, cappuccinos, hot chocolate…. Tourism information, brochures and maps. Bookings and keys for the, Caravan Park and the Wirrabara Forest Youth Hostel. A warm welcome, helpful advice and a friendly smile.

Institute & Library. The first Institute was built in 1884, Once it was closed it was used for a shop and now is the Anglican Church. In 1912 the present Institute was built from stone quarried from Marner’s quarry in the Wirrabara Forest.In 1974 the Seniors Citizens built another hall and new kitchen which was attached to the institute hall, making a great complex.
