A journal of photos and thoughts for family and friends. Friday, May 28, 2010. Fishin' by Oma, Maddie's Concert and Track stuff. The bluegills are starting to spawn. The males were on the nests! Nice one Maddie - on her new pole! It was hot on Sunday, so the kids went tubing with uncle Eb. A couple of pictures of Maddie and her classmates playing in their Spring concert. Maddie enjoys playing the French horn. This shows Joey running the first lap in the 3200 m run at regionals (at Valders).

A journal of photos and thoughts for family and friends. Thursday, September 25, 2008. We are very proud of Joey, and his buddy (and the one kid he hasn't beat yet) Michael. Both have taken second and first, respectively, in every meet this year. They did it again tonight at Mishicot, WI! Joey heading back up hill. Note kids still heading down. About 140 middle school kids total for the Valders Invite. They will race middle school boys and girls at the same time when varsity also races.

A journal of photos and thoughts for family and friends. Sunday, June 6, 2010. State Track at UW-La Crosse 2010. This is how we found Joey. Alone and stocking up on water and potassium. He likes to spend some time alone before a race. A really nice track - the stadium was recently renovated. Yep, it rained. At least it wasn't real hot. They had wheel chair contestants also! Joey (left in red) and the other runners coming out for the 3200 m race. The line up. Joey (red) is between the two guys in blue.
