That guy with the ponytail: November 2009
http://thatguywiththeponytail.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
From some very positive comments a couple different clients made, asking others about working with me again. Wednesday, November 18, 2009. A friend (Janet) asked about ".a talking headshot." for web use. This is a simple process. We'd need, in no particular order:. An actor - with a short piece committed to memory;. A camera, some lights, and a microphone. Then we sit down to edit, and encode it to whatever format the host wants. Ask for specs. Disclosure: I am not compensated by Adobe in any way. It was...

That guy with the ponytail: March 2010
http://thatguywiththeponytail.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
From some very positive comments a couple different clients made, asking others about working with me again. Monday, March 29, 2010. I do most of the production lighting for a (currently) web-based series called Transylvania Television. It's a puppet show, though. It is not meant for kids. The set is flexible, and built of carved foam on wooden frames, with some freestanding pieces built by Gordon, who also made the puppets. The setup to the right, seen in detail below, features two instruments - a small...

That guy with the ponytail: Farewell to a friend.
http://thatguywiththeponytail.blogspot.com/2011/05/farewell-to-friend.html
From some very positive comments a couple different clients made, asking others about working with me again. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Farewell to a friend. Benny made it to 15. That's about twice normal, and he spent all those years giving great happiness to everyone who knew him. He always greeted me with his warm smile. He loved running or walking through local parks, exploring the world with his nose, as dogs will. And he loved to sleep in the sun. Coolest dog I'll ever know. Casting Words to the Wind.

That guy with the ponytail: December 2009
http://thatguywiththeponytail.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
From some very positive comments a couple different clients made, asking others about working with me again. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Out in the world. Sometimes I like to just take the camera for a walk. There are good things everywhere to put a rectangle around*, if we stop and look. This little flower was out in the woods late in the fall, boldly defying the oncoming winter. How could I not push the button? A sunset over Lake Pepin. Lake Pepin is really a wide spot in the Mississippi River!

http://flowerchildsgarden.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-tree-oh-christmas-tree.html
December 15, 2009. Christmas Tree, Oh, Christmas Tree! I love trees in general. Yeah. I've hugged 'em. Deal with it. So, my affection for Christmas trees should come as no surprise. Even though I do not follow the Christian faith, I have come to understand not being Christian does not necessarily stop anyone from putting up a Christmas tree. It has become, I think, a kind of generic symbol of gift-giving. Mom would be standing next to it, smiling, telling us what a great job we had done. And finally, Mom...
