http://thechallengeoflife.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
The Challenge of Life. Random musings about the challenges we face in life, regardless of who we are and where we live in this world. Friday, 2 July 2010. We had a fabulous trip to visit Gaby and Luis, and all our family in Texas! Boy, it was hot! How do people live in that heat every day? But now we're back home, I am really missing it, espeically as the UK is hot too at the moment and we have no air conditioning. The Challenge of Life. Random musings about the challenges we face in life, regardless of who we are and where we live in this world. Monday, 13 July 2009. 12th July is "I love you" day. I met my future husband on 12th July 2003. Having first corresponded 17 days before on the internet, he flew to England. It was the first day he ever looked me in the eyes and said "I love you" - and yes, it was at the airport, about 2 minutes after he first held me in his arms. Posted by Rachel Briggs. Thank you to Alex.

The Slow Work of God | little bit of lagniappe
https://littlebitoflagniappe.wordpress.com/2015/06/08/the-slow-work-of-god
Little bit of lagniappe. Reflecting on everyday grace. The Slow Work of God. About a year and a half ago, before preparing for a 3-week sabbatical to Blue Mountain Beach along the Gulf Coast, my precious “othah mothah,” more affectionately known as “Mama O,” sent a poem/prayer to carry with me on my journey called “The Slow Work of God.” In reality, I think it. Withhold that very breath we so desperately need. Do you ever have the feeling that you’ve read something –. Work of God…the countercultura...

The “unsayable” gift of forgiveness | little bit of lagniappe
https://littlebitoflagniappe.wordpress.com/2015/07/27/the-unsayable-gift-of-forgiveness
Little bit of lagniappe. Reflecting on everyday grace. The “unsayable” gift of forgiveness. Here is the juicy conclusion of Mark’s eloquent reflection:. 8220;I only know that what matters is unsayable. And yet, every attempt to reveal it helps us live, the way every plant grows by reaching for a light it can’t see or name. God is such a sun. Truth is such a sun. Love is such a sun. And each of these God, Truth, and Love is just a temporary name for something too big to stay named. Swollen with purpose,.
