Better Late Than Never. It is never too late to be what you might have been" - George Eliot. This week I have really had to learn to "live in the moment" and take "one day at a time." Expressions I sometimes find annoying depending upon my mood, but other times can really help save me from losing my noodle. And finally, I am thankful that I have at least SOME resources to help pay for this, along with a wonderful mother who is insisting I let her help me. I do realize my blessings.

Better Late Than Never. It is never too late to be what you might have been" - George Eliot. Martinis and Hot Pants. I met James Dean Morrison—yes, that was really his name- in 1992. He’d been my friend Ken’s * roommate in Chicago. When I asked if they were dating, they both howled with laughter. “Are you kidding? 8221; JD was almost in tears. “Ken’s not my type—I like the boys who are pretty, dumb and muscular who wear nothing more than a Martini and hot pants! Better Late Than Never. It is never too late to be what you might have been" - George Eliot. Diary of a Disgusted 40-Something Single Woman. For some reason unbeknownst even to myself, I joined a couple of those hideous online dating sites a few weeks ago. I had always sneered and hooted at these sites and made fun of any friends who were on them. "All anyone is interested in, is getting laid! I have enclosed several male comments sent to me, for the sheer purpose of entertainment. YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE YO...
