http://lemasteringmotherhood.blogspot.com/2015/08/monday-meal-plan.html
Monday, August 17, 2015. Here is our menu for the week. Have a question on a specific meal, just ask. I like to use recipes for ideas but I usually don't look at them again and shop and cook with my own tweaks. Any links below are a great place to start for inspiration. Asian chicken salad served over rice noodles. Turkey (hidden veggie) Sloppy Joes with sweet potato fries and salad. Asian style fish and stir fry rice. Chicken Fajitas with refried beans and homemade tortillas. Follow me on Facebook!

Lodie's Small Talk: An American (wardrobe?)
http://lodieslaments.blogspot.com/2012/02/american-wardrobe.html
Sunday, February 26, 2012. My grandaughters got American Girl dolls for Christmas. They have been around for ever, and many little girls have played with them throughout the years. Although I didn't do the research, I think that they may have been around when I was a child, but don't quote me on that one. Here is the pattern I used for Kit. I still need to get one for Sophia. Posted by Lodie (my nickname). American Girl came out in the early 1980s I think, so they arent as old as you thought. :). The Tim...

LeMastering Motherhood: Banana Bread Muffins!
http://lemasteringmotherhood.blogspot.com/2015/07/banana-bread-muffins.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. I recently sampled King Arthur products with some friends and had some of their amazing flours on hand to play with! They sent samples and coupons for their flours that the group was able to use to make goodies for a bake sale. The bake sale proceeds were donated to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio. King Arthur has a #BakeForGood initiative promoting giving back through baking. 2 cups very ripe bananas, mashed; about 4 or 5 medium bananas. 1/3 cup coconut oil (liquid).

Lodie's Small Talk: December 2012
http://lodieslaments.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 31, 2012. Our family has adopted a new Christmas tradition in lieu of shopping for everyone. We are doing a gift exchange. There are 6 of us, my husband, myself and our 2 daughters with spouses. Each of us purchases a $20 gift and we play a fun gift- stealing game when we exchange our gifts. I received a beautiful candle and hurricane holder. I cannot think of what it is really called, but here is a picture for you. Of course, I did need to steal it, but hey, it is all in the game. Bolt ...

Lodie's Small Talk: March 2012
http://lodieslaments.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 24, 2012. Cozy this . and this.and this. Posted by Lodie (my nickname). Saturday, March 3, 2012. However, these little gems are just small enough and have just enough spice that I am really enjoying them. When I first ate them, I called them wasabi balls, because I didn't know what they were exactly. When I found out they were peas with wasabi on them, I said "they can't be peas - I don't like peas! Lodie's Small Talk: May 2012

Saturday, May 26, 2012. An opportunity for the Auto Industry. Why in the world have our cars remained so plain and undecorated. I think that the auto industry has missed an opportunity to decorate cars. Why must they all be solid colored? Why don't we have printed cars. A calico Chrysler or a dotted Dodge? Anyhow as I was walking out of work into the parking lot to my car, I passed a partially plaid (burberry to be exact) mini cooper parked there just as pretty as can be. I had to take a picture. Paul Bl...

Friday, February 6, 2015. The Last Two Weeks. Part five. I managed to get ice by begging and fed O as needed. Early the next morning my infectious disease team and surgeon came in. He said four days of pump and dump after the nuclear medicine HIDA test. He left and called the infant risk hotline directly for me to double check the time and safety of the drugs and understood my concerns and most of all listened! I'm so proud of how he rocked it even if that sounds cliche. A great friend grabbed Oliver and...

LeMastering Motherhood: August 2015
http://lemasteringmotherhood.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. Stuff my kids say! While reciting his new "alphabet" from school. Sunday, August 30, 2015. Discover with Dr. Cool. The boys and I tried to have a lazy Sunday but as all moms know with children that never happens. Instead I spent the afternoon trying to find fun activities to keep them entertained. I pulled out our Dr. Cool's Glow in the Dark Slime Science Kit. We recently received to review. Once done we were able to store it for future play in the included fun container. Borolux...

LeMastering Motherhood: Omega Boost Jr.
http://lemasteringmotherhood.blogspot.com/2015/07/omega-boost-jr.html
Sunday, July 26, 2015. I first looked into DHA/Omega 3's/Fish oil when we first moved to FL years ago. Our Indiana dogs didn't adjust so well to the climate and needed something to help their skin. We don't usually buy animal only products that cost 10-times more so I looked for quality human supplements for our pets. Since then, I've searched for a great supplement both for us adults in the family to help with healthy hearts and for the kiddos! I jumped at the chance to try a sampling of. To ensure thei...
