Mark Eifler, Historian. Connecting Past, Present, and Future. Revisiting the Gold Rush. HST 210: United States to 1877. Day One @ Huntington. First day back at the Huntington after almost 20 years! It has been much too long! Had a couple of wonderful moments. Just before I left home I grabbed some notes I had made at the Huntington in 1996. Turns out they were lists of books and call numbers from the Huntington, so I was immediately back into the heart of the gold rush manuscripts. Enter your comment here.

Mark Eifler, Historian. Connecting Past, Present, and Future. Revisiting the Gold Rush. HST 210: United States to 1877. To the Huntington Library. I am heading to the Huntington Library to do research for one week, during our Spring Break. I am looking specifically for letters and diaries related to the California Gold Rush. It is a treat to work here, to walk the gardens, to have time just for research and writing. I also hope to make a few posts this week here on the blog. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

wistbacka - Välkommen till mitt huvud.
Välkommen till mitt huvud. Nu har jag en ny blogg! Klicka här: http:/ jenny.wistord.se. 2012-01-17 @ 10:20:49 Permalink. Julgranspyntning, enligt tradition! Och in...

I want my life choices to pave the path to my dreams. The Job I Want Everyday. Saturday, April 13, 2013. I have been taking a more in depth look at my lifestyle and what my overall life goals are for myself. I’ve discovered the weaker points of my life choices and am currently devising methods of improvement. To be honest I’ve been looking to the weather for motivation. It has been dreary and overcast for more than 5 days. I long for the sunlight, to bask in its glow and warmth. Saturday, January 12, 2013.
