Last year was definitely the best year of all! We allowed access to the library, Two Star Symphony opened the show, we expanded the dance floor, we added video and the music selection was phenomenal! We loved the dark victorian cabaret theme from last year so much that we want to bring some of that back this year! I suppose it's time!

The voice of the young lady on the other end informed me she was the concierge for the Historic Hotel Galvez. She began to relay a story to me that, as a Galveston Island resident, I was somewhat familiar with. Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Yesterday we presented a check to the Galveston Island Humane Society. For $3000. That might not seem like a lot of money to some people, but itâ s more than we could ever give on our own. In fact it took a whole community of friends to make this happen. Kim and I had decided a while back to narrow down our list of benefactors to animals and children (The latter probably from guilt associated with not having any). We decided to give to the Galveston Island Humane Society.
