Saturday, April 08, 2006. It was warm and we had food and bug spray and even blankets and we were together. My dad kept saying stupid things to make my mom laugh and Tash and I wandered around the edge picking up rocks and things and talking about how we’d survive on the island for the rest of our lives, and then have a movie made of us. The way Ray deals with Trudie and Tash leaving is demonstrated through his mysteriously selling all their furniture and through his rearranging the dump. Jim and the War.

Saturday, April 08, 2006. She believed in 100% cotton. She liked a clean bed. She had an uncanny ability to predict the weather. As you can see Trudie was very open and warm. She was the life of the house and she made up for Ray’s quietness, filling the house’s silence with her funny quirks and laughter. Nomi often describes her laughter. And I know that Nomi for sure misses Trudie more then Tash. In fact like the book is Nomi lost in her memories many of Trudie. Posted by Alisha @ 8:13 PM.

He rules East Village with an iron fist, and preaches only of God’s wrath and how if the people are not perfect they will experience the fiery depths of hell.
