The Parish hall provides an extremely important resource for the community, accommodating a range of educational, welfare and sports and leisure activities. It is managed by the Parish Hall Committee which is currently seeking funding to draw up plans for capital improvements to the building.

Police ask residents to secure outbuildings. Over the past few months there has been a spate of thefts from stables and outbuildings in the Kendal rural area. With the lighter evenings, police are asking residents to make sure outbuildings are locked up and secure with any property put away out of sight.

My 2 girls and I make cakes and provide hot and cold drinks for passers-by to help themselves to and make a contribution in the envelopes provided.
