http://outthewindow15.blogspot.com/2011/12/restored-grindstone-song.html

Scripture and a Snapshot. The view from our front yard yesterday evening. Links to this post. Lacto-fermentation is a fairly new thing in our house. When I first heard of it, I thought, "That is gross; there is no way I'm eating rotten food! But when a friend that had started making it gave us a jar, I decided I would go ahead and give it a try since it has good health benefits. It really isn't even bad! I just made a batch Tuesday, so here is my recipe. 4 medium sized tomatoes. 1 tablespoon chili powder.

barefoot countrygirl: Counting Blessings
http://outthewindow15.blogspot.com/2011/11/counting-blessings.html
November 28, 2011. More blessings #10 - #28. Laughter, love and fellowship with family. Grandmommie's sweet prayer, a blessing, crying softly. Leftover sweet potato souffle. Dirty hands, moving boards around in Papa's barn. The beauty of a frost. Mama and Dad talking quietly downstairs. A 600-piece puzzle of the world and building it with Ben. Finding a little white rabbit on the way home from Thanksgiving. Sweet pictures of the little girl and her returned rabbit. When my horses nuzzle at my shoulder.
