Sunday, May 22, 2011. I am now officially a MD! After many years of hard work I can finally say I AM A DOCTOR! It is still very surreal and it has not fully sunk in yet. I have a feeling it won't until July 1 when the nurse turns to me and asks "Doctor what do you want to do for patient X". Monday, May 16, 2011. Monday, May 9, 2011. Thursday, May 5, 2011. Well that is one I never learned in medical school. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. After it was built. Fresh coat of primer. Monday, May 2, 2011. So over the ...

Afib with RVR: September 2010
http://afibwithrvr.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. A few reflections on the NICU. It really is amazing what modern medical science con do. The number and size of all the premature infants that we were caring for shocked me, but after a month of watching them grow and caring for them I gained a whole new appreciation. Maybe I can really do this! Throughout ...

Afib with RVR: February 2011

Monday, February 28, 2011. Who Knows What Tomorrow Will Bring? So tomorrow I start a month rotation in the ADHD clinic (thank goodness I will not be in it every day). I was originally to go in at noon but my attending emailed me today and told me we had 2 new patients and to be in at 9am. I sure hope that does not mean each new patient visit will take an hour and a half. While I imagine my day might be something like this. Or maybe like this. I feel it will end up something like this! I hate that sound!

Thursday, March 31, 2011. I don't wanna grow up. So now that I have matched into residency and will be getting a salary rather than loans I guess I should consider growing up. BUT I really don't want to! Tuesday, March 29, 2011. So how about the line up for the Final Four of this year's NCAA Basketball tournament! Who would have ever guessed there would be NO number 1 seeds. I think everyone's brackets are BUSTED! Even President Obama's bracket is busted! Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Monday, March 21, 2011.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Fall Stroll Through Maymont. So in a mini get-a-way today my fiancee and I went to Maymont. It was a beautiful day. Sunny and mid 50s to low 60s. A great fall day! We had a blast. Neither of us had been there in a while so it was a great experience. We saw river otters, black bear, goats, a bobcat and a bunch of birds. It was a great day and a wonderful time for the two of us. A few of the sites. Then the fun came of transferring the drawing to the pumpkin. Then cut it out.
