Saturday, July 25, 2015. Claire has had a busy summer so far. We enrolled her in a couple parks and rec classes along with her YMCA volleyball league and it has kept her on her toes. Overall, we have not been very impressed with YMCA. In basketball she had a terrible coach who left her not liking the sport very much. Luckily, the city of Gilbert had a basketball clinic, 2 nights a week and it has helped her a lot! Her shoes can testify how much work she is putting in to her sports skills. She is so proud...

Thursday, March 26, 2015. This week Michelle came down to spend the day with cousins and Nana. We went to our favorite park because we thought T.J. would enjoy the splash pad. Saturday, January 31, 2015. We finally got Claire a booster seat! She is so excited. (and Joy is a little jealous). We got her the Britax Parkway as I am still not ready to give up the side impact protection. The whole back part does come off though so it can be a regular booster seat if we want it to. I guess I never realized how constraining her old, 5-point harness seat was. They whole time we were driving she kept exclaiming. Look I can look out the window! I've always wanted to look at the window!

Friday, February 6, 2015. This week we went to RiverView Park in Mesa with my mom. We had a picnic lunch and Paige enjoyed the short picnic tables made just for kids. I enjoyed not worrying about her falling off the bench. Claire LOVED the zip line and spent quite a while zipping back and forth. Sunday, December 28, 2014. My New, Old-Fashioned Hobby. Last January I started some gifts for this past Christmas. For some reason I was compelled to take up a new hobby that requires an absurd amount of time and patience because you know how I have plenty of both of those things. I started with this half square triangle quilt for my nephew TJ. I was really feeling accomplished when I finished it in March. I then started on this one for my cousin Marisol.
