Youth of Chivalry: Corporation's are Like Children.... Maybe
http://youthofchivalry.blogspot.com/2015/06/corporations-are-like-children-maybe.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Corporation's are Like Children. Maybe. Reading an article about the recently released movie Ex Machina. Got me thinking, and this is what I thought. Though corporations are basically like children, the government is completely comprised of angels and their harmless toy poodles! They'll make sure nothing bad ever happens! But in all seriousness, I do find it interesting that this article in the NY Times. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A little about this youth. To my niece Vi...

Listening and Observing Out Loud : November 2014
http://listeningandobservingoutloud.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 24, 2014. My Parents are my friends. My parents, simply put, are not just my parents, but my friends. They are some of my most trusted advisors and confidants. Your parents are not the people who are trying to restrict you all the time. It seems that often kids look at parents this way, and it makes for an extremely friction filled relationship. What has been the most pivotal point in my relationship with my parents? I've learned to talk to my parents about my problems, problems in our r...

Listening and Observing Out Loud : Grateful. God's Good Gifts.
http://listeningandobservingoutloud.blogspot.com/2015/05/grateful-gods-good-gifts.html
Saturday, May 30, 2015. Grateful. God's Good Gifts. Lately, I've been reminded of how important it is to be grateful. A lack of gratefulness leads to grumpiness, complaining, misery, and self-pity. But, gratefulness? Gratefulness is the sure cure for so many of those maladies, and so I just want to share a few of the many things for which I am grateful in. PICTURES! Cute girls and kittens! Pancakes in the making. :). And last but not LEAST! May 31, 2015 at 6:53 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Listening and Observing Out Loud : January 2015
http://listeningandobservingoutloud.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. The Anticipation of the Sunrise. Does that describe for you just how much I love Colorado? It's not just that, but I love and am in awe of a God who makes these paintings for His own enjoyment and that we get to enjoy them too. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. A life of Fortitude, Faith, and Forgiveness. We listened to an AMAZINGLY edifying and convicting sermon this past Sunday. It was on the life of Joseph. Last of all, Joseph truly was a phenomenal example of forgiveness. Aft...

Youth of Chivalry: March 2015
http://youthofchivalry.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 13, 2015. Is it just me, or does life seem to be passing by more quickly as I get older? I mean, wasn't it Friday just yesterday? And I thought Christmas was last weekend. It wasn't too long ago that I remember thinking that it was going to take forever to grow up. Everything in the future seemed so far away, so distant, almost an eternity away. This all reminded me of Psalm 39:4 (and I had to looks this up, I can't claim to have had this memorized). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Anyway, Im w...

Youth of Chivalry: Reflections From the Past
http://youthofchivalry.blogspot.com/2015/01/reflections-from-past.html
Friday, January 9, 2015. Reflections From the Past. Most people who know me will have at one point or another discovered that I am a journal keeper. Now, let us get a couple of pesky definitions out of the way. Technically. I suppose I actually keep a diary, because it's a "my-eyes-only" (save the rare occasion that I share an entry), deeply reflective and introspective account of my thoughts during the day, conversations I had, and things that I read. The word diary. But now, friend and reader, if you'v...

Listening and Observing Out Loud : It really is the little things.
http://listeningandobservingoutloud.blogspot.com/2015/06/it-really-is-little-things.html
Monday, June 22, 2015. It really is the little things. I don't think I really realized before just how much the little things mean. These acts of kindness, the ones that most people gloss over, are the ones that are so beautiful. It's the glass of water from your sister. It's the note or pack of gum she got you or the hug she gives you. It's making cookies for your mail lady or trimming the grass in the front, even if it looks hard. June 30, 2015 at 8:42 PM. The little things indeed! You have a lovely bl...
