artstar by aletha: Shoe Redo Tutorial
http://alethaisraels.blogspot.com/2011/06/shoe-redo-tutorial.html
Wednesday, June 15, 2011. I have a bad habit, like most ladies, of buying lots and lots of shoes. My problem is that I ruin them as quick as I get them. There is nothing worse then spilling on a new pair of leather shoes the first time you wear them. So I present to you my fabric covered shoe tutorial! The basic concept in this fabric covered shoe is decoupage. What you need-. Shoes (either damaged or in need of any update, the less complicated the better). Marker to trace pattern pieces.

Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Finally something new for you to make. The look right now is all about layers. Especially when it comes to your arm candy. I am loving the mix of leather and sparkles right now, but not loving the price tag. This cuff from anthropologie is $220! While the price point is crazy the style is hot and very replicable but with an artstar twist. Anthropologie Inspired Leather Sparkle Bangles. Fold in half and make a loop large enough for the button to fit through. Once you get to the en...

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. A Boxful of Goodies! Last week I received two great gifts. New front teeth (long story) and a boxful of goodies from my mother in law(a much better story). She was given a whole batch of drapery fabric samples and trimming samples from a designer friend, and passed them all on to me! The fabric is all upholstery weight and ranges in size from 9x6 inches to 9x12 inches. The prints and colors are so different then all my Anna Maria Horner. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. http://alethaisraels.blogspot.com/2011/06/feather-cuff-tutorial.html
Sunday, June 19, 2011. I feel a little late to the party, but here in the mid west trends find us a bit later. Ha! Right now I am loving the feather trend. I was at a graduation party this weekend where I was surround by super cute feather hair extensions, and found myself with a bit of "feather envy." I whipped this little guy up it a matter of minutes with stuff I had around the house. Easy Breezy Feather Cuff. Feathers, Glue Gun, Cuff, Ribbon, Scissors. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thursday, January 20, 2011. No t-shirt left behind. Do you ever have one of those days where everything seems like work, even the basic stuff. Today was one of those days. But in the spirit of being the person I am trying to be (not one who wastes the day eating chips and watching daytime TV) I decided to make a few more t-shirt necklaces to share with you. I posted a full tutorial. Last week, but here are a couple variations I made this afternoon. Send me a picture if you give it a try. All you need is ...

Monday, February 28, 2011. More Fun With Neckties. Sorry I was MIA all week. I lost my camera cord, but the good news is that it was found and I have a camera full of picture and projects to keep sharing with you. I hope you have made time for some Artstaring during these cold snowy winter months. Keep sending images of things you have made inspired by any of my tutorials. I love seeing everyone's unique and creative spin on things. Inspired, but I think it sure looks like something you would find there!
