Jane Austen is my Hero: November 2008
http://janeaustenismyhero.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
November 28, 2008. Love the Turkey, Hate the Holiday. Thanksgiving is a time where most people feel gratitude for all their blessings. I however, spent a greater part of it feeling guilt. I feel guilty because I realize that most of the year I haven't been feeling gratitude for all the many blessings I've had, and instead have been dwelling on all the hardships and trials and "I'll be happy when's. But I know I could do better. I've actually always dreaded Thanksgiving, because unlike most people who use...

Jane Austen is my Hero: December 2008
http://janeaustenismyhero.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
December 16, 2008. Alliances at the Yankee Swap. Every couple gets a number. The first person chooses a gift from the pile. The second person can either steal a gift or choose from the pile. Each gift can only be stolen 3 times and can only be stolen once per round (a round ends when the stealing stops and someone finally picks something from the center). Ah, a desperate and overweight woman's prayer answered. December 8, 2008. The Real Santa Came To Our Ward Party! This is the statement Hyrum. Time cont...

Jane Austen is my Hero: Summertime
http://janeaustenismyhero.blogspot.com/2010/10/summertime.html
October 20, 2010. Considering my last post was in March, I thought I should at least give an honorable mention to summertime. Summer went by super fast and was filled with water days and trips to the gardens. We also decided to go on some hikes with the kids, which is a major feat for me since I'm no hiker. These are some fun pictures of us a Bridal Veil Falls. And some at the Thanksgiving Point Children's Gardens. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Jane Austen is my Hero: July 2009
http://janeaustenismyhero.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
July 20, 2009. Fourth of July BBQ. It is a tradition in my family to have a neighborhood BBQ on the fourth of July. So, for the last 3 years we have continued that tradition in our own little neighborhood. We provide the burgers, hot dogs, drinks, and paper products and then everyone brings a side dish. We had about 30 people this year and we had tons of fun. July 6, 2009. Hyrum finished t-ball several weeks ago, but I never posted the pictures of him with his medal. He was so proud of that medal. I have...

April 28, 2009. This is a little conversation in the car the other day:. Hyrum: Where are we going to get pizza Mom? Hyrum: I don't remember Papa Smurfies. Do I like Papa Smurfies? Jane Austen is my Hero: Kool-Aid Stand
http://janeaustenismyhero.blogspot.com/2010/10/kool-aid-stand.html
October 20, 2010. The kids were so cute at their first kool-aid stand I just had to take a picture. The kids sold their lemonade at our yard sale a few weeks ago. It was freezing, so they really should of been selling hot chocolate. They still managed to make $4 and it kept them out of our hair. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Jane Austen is my Hero: February 2009
http://janeaustenismyhero.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
February 23, 2009. Quality Time and a Vacation with Jesus. Where does the time go? I swear I just wrote a post the other day, but apparently it was almost a month ago. I'd promise to do better, but let's face it, I barely have time to shave my legs more than once a month let alone to actually write on my blog. (Too much information? I figure if I post something every now and then so I can at least piece together what is going on then that's pretty good. On Valentine's Day, Ben surprised me with this book:.
